Castle Dyke Equestrian Centre is a licensed five star and BHS approved Livery and Riding School. We currently have over thirty livery horses on site together with our riding school horses. We have a busy riding school open four days a week in all weather with instruction provided by experienced teachers.

Working as part of our team. Giving feeds, turning out, mucking out, sweeping, yard tidying, field maintenance, grooming and assisting riding school and livery clients. There is an opportunity for riding for the right candidate. You will also be supported through a Level 2 Equine Groom Standard by KEITS Training Services.

Work in a busy livery yard and riding school.

Duties to include but not limited to;

  • Turning out, bringing in
  • Mucking out 
  • Feeding and Watering
  • Grooming 
  • Tacking up in preparation for lessons
  • Maintaining yard cleanliness
  • Meeting and Greeting riding school Clients
  • booking appointments 
  • taking payments 
  • Assisting livery clients when necessary
  • Riding, schooling and jumping. 

Also, the opportunity to participate in on site clinics where possible. A friendly yard with happy clients and staff surrounded by lovely hacking across arable farmland. 

Desired skills

  • Equine experience is essential and must be shown on application.

Desired qualifications

  • GCSE’s, or equivalent, in maths and English are desired but not essential.
  • Pony Club 'B' Test would be advantageous. 
  • Applicant must not already hold a Level 2 in Horse Care qualification.

Things to consider

  • KEITS Training Services Ltd reserves the right to close the vacancy earlier than the listed closing date should the need arise.
  • Due to rural location, applicant must have access to own transport. 
  • Long hours working a physical job outdoors in all weathers.



Weekly wage

£161.70 to £311.85

Working week

35 hours Monday to Friday, plus Saturdays. Start 9 am at the latest and some evening work.
