Level 2 Floristry Apprentice (Lotty's Flowers)

We are a town centre shop in the heart of Faversham. We have been trading for over ten years with a combined experience of 20 years. We are busy with funeral and sympathy designs, everyday bouquets and weddings'. We also sell planters and related goods.

Recruiting for a florist to learn all aspects of floristry from the ground up. Opportunities to make bouquets, funeral and wedding flowers, This will include setting up, cleaning buckets, paperwork, speaking to customers, taking orders and answering the phone.

Tasks will include:

• Making everyday bouquets
• Making funeral flowers
• Making wedding flowers including installing
• Talk to the public both face to face and on the phone
• Make sales
• Take orders
• Use computer to take and print orders 
• Write cards
• Keep the shop clean and tidy
• Clean buckets
• Make boxes
• Sweep up
• Water plants
• Condition flowers when they arrive from suppliers
