Digital Skills

KEITS are now offering FREE courses in Digital Skills through Gateway Qualifications open to adults aged 19 or over subject to eligibility. These qualifications are aimed to support adults who want to join the digital world by learning digital skills for life, their work or for use in further study. They can be taken as a stand alone course or run alongside an Apprenticeship.

 


City & Guilds Award in Education and Training

The City and Guilds 6502 Award in Education and Training is a recognized qualification for those who want to pursue a role in a range of educational settings.

Assessment and Quality Assurance 

The City & Guilds 6317 Award in Assessment and Quality Assurance is a qualification open to people carrying out assessments and quality assurance in most learning environments.

They are desgined for anyone assessing and carrying out quality assurance in all occupational sectors, accredited learning, non-accredited learning (e.g. where performance is being assessed by the learner who is not undertaking a qualification) and qualifications listed on the RQF. 


Emergency First Aid at Work

The qualification is designed for those who need to be able to undertake Emergency First Aid in a work environment as a first line First Aider.

NPTC Level 2 Award in the Safe use of Pesticides Units PA1 & PA6

Safe use of Pesticide: Foundation Unit PA1. This course is suitable for those working in forestry, agriculture, horticulture or greenkeeping. It is based round the National Proficiency Test Council PA1(Foundation) Test and is designed to help people to successfully prepare for their tests.

Safe use of Pesticide: Unit PA6 – Hand Held Applicators This course is suitable for those working in forestry, agriculture, horticulture or greenkeeping where spraying pesticide is required. It is based around the National Proficiency Test Council PA6 (Hand Held Applicators) Test and is designed to help people to successfully prepare for their tests.
