Project & Systems Administrator

We are now searching for a Project & Systems Administrator to provide both clerical and administrative support at KEITS Training Services head office working as part of a team and individually. The role requires you to lead on the administration of Advanced Learning Loans alongside the administration and smooth-running of KEITS day to day businesses.

Working Arrangements:

The position requires the post holder to be based at KEITS Head Office in Elstree, Hertfordshire, where a full induction will be provided.

40 hours p/w 8:30am-17:00pm

Holiday: 30 days per annum including statutory holidays and taken to fit in with KEITS business needs. Additional holiday given after 2 years service.

CPD, training and/or development identified as necessary and agreed by both parties will be funded by KEITS Training Services Ltd. 

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for the administration, project management and monitoring of Advanced Learning Loans & ESF provision.
  • Liaise with relevant Stake holders/colleagues/Student Loans Company to ensure that learners are eligible and are processed in a timely manner.
  • Manage the administrative requirements of the post. All tasks and allocated work activity to be completed in a timely manner, including supporting area manager & beauty sector.
  • Keep up to date with the ESFA funding rules and the Advanced Learner Loans funding requirements.
  • Enter learner and employer data onto internal and external systems ensuring that records and paperwork are kept up to date and accurate.
  • Attend meetings as directed, required or requested by your line manager and any member of the Senior Management Team.
  • Liaise with learners, employers, staff and stakeholders via phone, email and face to face.
  • Undertake administration required to support projects and government initiatives as directed by your line manager and senior head office personnel.
  • Welcome visitors and prepare training rooms as and when required.
  • Direct incoming telephone calls and take internal messages for staff members. Answer emails and enquiries as appropriate, i.e. referring queries to the relevant persons.
  • Assist in auditing and compliance checking all KEITS learner and employer information.
  • Undertake staff development and training as required to support you in the effective undertaking of the post. Any other reasonable role and responsibility determined by your line manager or Directors to be within the general scope of the post.

  • *The nature of operations is such that on occasions all employees are expected to undertake short term assignments which will be appropriate to their abilities to support the company. For example, support for other departments in times of heavy workload or shortage of labour due to absence.

Animal Care Training & Assessment Consultants

We now have three opportunities to join our highly successful and growing field-based animal care training and assessment team. We are looking for a dedicated and inspirational individuals to use their knowledge and experience of the industry, to develop and support our learners in achieving their Apprenticeship, or work-based qualification.

The successful candidates will ideally be located in South East, North West, and Central England and will able to cover a range of business types within the industry. You will visit learners in their work-based setting, delivering training in conjunction with their employer and undertaking assessment (and if appropriate Internal Quality Assurance) of learners.

You will be:

  • Delivering work-based training and assessment and internal quality assurance of Animal Care programmes, up to and including level 3 minimum.
  • Supporting maths and English delivery up to Functional Skills Level 2.
  • Completing administration and reporting required of the post.
  • Any other requirements of the Apprenticeship frameworks and/or Standard, including preparation for Gateway and End Point Assessment.

 You will need:

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Animal Care.
  • Excellent communication and people skills and to be professional and approachable.
  • The ability to support learners with maths and English Functional Skills up to level 2 with the help of subject specific software.
  • Competent computer skills and a willingness to learn to use an e-portfolio.
  • A driving licence and willingness to travel across counties in the North West.
  • Self-discipline to manage your own time and workload.

Desirable:

  • Teaching experience in an FE or HE environment.
  • A teaching qualification at L3 or above.
  • TAQA L3 or equivalent and/or assessment experience.
  • An understanding of work-based learning.
  • GCSEs at Grade C or above in Maths, English.

These posts are subject to a six months probationary period.

Responsible to:

In the first instance the appointed Area Manager, in their absence the Directorate and thereafter the Chief Executive.

Working Arrangements:

These posts are full-time, permanent positions. You will work from your own home, but most of your time will be spent in the field visiting your learners and therefore applicants will need to be located within the North West and South East of England geographical area, we have given Manchester & Kent purely as guides. You will also visit our Hertfordshire Head Office and overnight stays may be required.

For the right candidate, we can provide the opportunity to undertake assessment and teaching qualifications as part of your CPD, if not already held.

An induction programme will be provided and a personal ‘Buddy’ appointed to you.

Job Type: Full-time Salary: £22,000.00 to £26,000.00 depending on experience (plus travel expenses)

Horticulture Training & Assessment Consultant  

Have you ever thought of taking your knowledge and expertise in Horticulture and using it to help those beginning their careers to achieve an Apprenticeship or qualification?

We now have an excellent opportunity for an dedicated and inspiring individual who can use their knowledge and experience of the industry to develop and support our learners.

You will need to be able to assess and/or IQA apprentices in horticulture, as well as support learners and their ‘in house’ assessors undertaking horticulture awards and diplomas in a prison setting.  

You will need:

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Horticulture with industry experience
  • Excellent communication and people skills, be professional and approachable
  • A willingness and ability to support learners with maths and English Functional Skills up to level 2
  • Competent in computer skills and/or willingness to learn e-portfolio
  • Drivers licence and willingness to travel across counties

Desirable:

  • Experience & understanding of 'work based learning'
  • Teaching experience in an FE or HE environment
  • GCSEs at Grade C or above in Maths and/or English
  • D33/V1/TAQA L4 an advantage

This role is field and home based and you will need to be able to travel across counties to various client premises, as well as have the self-discipline to manage your own time, workload and undertake the administration required. 

Salary £22,000 - £26,000 depending on experience (plus travel expenses)
