Funding Eligibility

  • Must be employed for a minimum of 30 hours a week
  • Must hold a contract of employment and receive payslips
  • Must be paid the minimum Apprenticeship wage of £4.30 per hour from 1st April 2021.
  • The apprenticeship must be materially different from any prior qualification or previous apprenticeship

Employer Grants

Incentive payments

16-18yrs             £1,000 employer incentive, £500 paid after day 90 and £500 paid after day 365

                           £2,000 Government incentive , £1,000 paid after day 90 and £1,000 paid after day 365 

19-24yrs             £2,000 Government incentive , £1,000 paid after day 90 and £1,000 paid after day 365 

25+yrs                £1,500 Government incentive , £1,000 paid after day 90 and £1,000 paid after day 365 

The current Government grant is available for employers taking on an Apprentice between the 1 August 2020 and 31 March 2021.

Advanced Apprenticeships

  • Floristry
  • Animal Care
  • Horticulture
  • Management - Team Leader/Supervisor
  • Customer Service - Customer Service Specialist
  • Business Admin - Business Administrator

Higher Apprenticeships

  • Management - Operational/Departmental Manager

Non-Apprenticeships

  • Level 4 Higher Diploma in Floristry
  • Level 2 & 3 Awards and Diplomas in a range of beauty therapies
