“I recently did my Level 3 Senior Groom Apprenticeship in Horsecare at North Farm Stud under the training provider KEITS and the assessor Emily MacKay. I achieved a distinction for my level 3 and was delighted but without the help from North Farm Stud and Emily MacKay (who was outstanding with her patience, teaching and dedication) I would not have achieved such a high standard. Emily goes the eleventh mile, she really cares about her students and teaching in a comprehensive and professional manner. There is no other route I would have rather taken and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole process, even the nagging to get things done. There was collaborative and professional preparation for my EPA which went smoothly and without any issues. The handover to the EPA Assessor was good and I enjoyed the day. I was delighted to get Distinction for myself, KEITS and also North Farm Stud my employer. It felt like a long process and at times was stressful but a great journey, with special people.”
