Keeping Excellence in Training Standards

Apprenticeships are strongly supported by the government for future workforce development. KEITS is the country’s premier private training provider specialising in Apprenticeships and NVQ provision throughout the land based industries and also delivers Management awards to all sectors.
 
We work nationally with a large variety of businesses in the Horse Care, Animal Care, Floristry and the Horticultural industries, we are now branching into other sectors delivering Management awards.  The businesses that we work with range from small concerns with one or two employees to large national, multi-centre organisations.
 
Apprenticeships frameworks include National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs), Key Skills, Technical Certificates and a First Aid qualification. Through these awards people gain experience in their chosen career and improve their communication, application of number and information technology skills relevant to their working environment. The qualifications are awarded by City and Guilds & Chartered Management Institute and are approved by the rural industries’ lead body LANTRA and the Management Standards Centre.
 
NVQs are designed to test practical competence in a real work situation and successful completion provides employers with staff who are specifically trained for a selected occupational area with a good level of hands-on experience.
 
KEITS has offered full and dedicated support to over 3,000 learners since 1997. KEITS' assessment team are vocationally qualified, competent and work to a very high standard to help people gain nationally recognised qualifications and achieve success without time off work to attend college. A personal assessor visits learners in the work place every four to six weeks depending on the learners individual needs. During these visits the assessor samples the practical skills of the learner, sets work to be completed and assists in building a portfolio of work that reflects achievement.
 
All learners are employed or are volunteers and our enthusiasm to help people achieve their personal goals in work based settings enables KEITS to make real differences to the businesses we work with.  Come and join us!
